Jennifer Models

While visiting WPPI's trade show in Las Vegas this year, my friend Ray Soemarsono (of Apertura Photo) and I were itching for a shoot. We payed a visit to Red Rock Canyon to photograph my lovely associate photographer, Jennifer Daigle. She was so kind as to model for us in freezing cold weather. I'm sure you'll agree that she is a natural born model. These are some of my top favorites.


This first pic is hilarious, as Ray shows Jennifer how to strike a pose. I couldn't resist. I think Ray has another career ahead of him...perhaps the next Miss Jay of America's Next Top Model. HAHA!

Hannah...all Grown Up

Hannah will be celebrating her Bat Mitzvah in May. I photographed her sister's Bat Mitzvah a few years ago, and I cannot believe how much she has grown. She is a beautiful young lady now. It gets me all teary-eyed to think about it, because I am trying to savor every moment with my own daughter, and I see how quickly time flashes by. It's definitely an eye-opener.

Empire Destructive

Empire Destructive provides gear and clothing to extreme sports enthusiasts. They hired me to take some photos for their new websites home page. Eat your heart out guys! Imagine the many male photographer's out there that would have loved to have been in my position that day.

There was a lot of testosterone on the set that day, but I managed to hold my own. HA! Truth be told, the Empire Destructive crew were all in attendance, and I must say that they were amazing to work with. The guys were all so helpful and accommodating. We had a few jokesters (Mike Hildebrand, owner of E.D.) on the set too, which kept us all laughing. And the models were fantastic...what great attitudes. It was very cold that day, and they never once complained. Mike treated us all to a great dinner afterwards...good times. I am looking forward to working with E.D. again, anytime, anywhere! Bring it on!

Shelby and Josh Are Expecting A Little Girl!

Beautiful Couple, Shelby and Josh are expecting their first child in April. Josh knows that his little girl is going to have him wrapped around her little finger. Shelby began the nesting period by going all out decorating her daughter's nursery...I can't wait to see it. We had a lovely day walking around the Newport Beach area, dodging spiders and ticks, and nameless other critters. Thank you for indulging me with your carefreeness. I am thrilled to meet your little one.

DAY THREE - Los Angeles Dodgers

I just can't get enough of those Dodgers. This time around, the Los Angeles Dodgers came to Childrens Hospital Los Angeles to spend time with the patients there. One of their biggest fans greeted them in the lobby and they showered her with gifts and autographed many prized possesions for her. Jennifer and I had a wonderful time capturing some really special moments.

There's nothing like giving back, and ThinkCure! along with the LA Dodgers and the McCourt Family help to fund innovative research projects at both Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and City of Hope to help cure cancer.
