Alexandra's Portrait Session

It's hard to believe, but Alexandra is only 12! I KNOW!!! She will be celebrating her Bat Mitzvah next month. I have the honor of shooting her big day...I can't wait.

Her theme is Broadway Theater, so we thought it best to take to Hollywood Blvd. for her Portrait Session. The whole family came to help out, Mom (who always looks fashionably chic), Dad (whom is a great film artist) and Big Sis (who also shares a love for photography--I shot her Bat Mitzvah a few years back).

When I tell you that I had fun with the Goldmann clan, I really mean it. I feel like they are family and they make me feel the same. We encountered some real characters that night, some amusing and others that were downright scary. We had some good laughs over it.

Alexandra seemed to be a natural voguing for the camera and dancing in the streets. She's more than a triple threat, I found out. She not only sings, dances and acts, but she also plays a few instruments (guitar, piano, and I can't remember the other) as well. I can't even play the triangle. YIKES!!!

Thank you Goldmann's for a wonderful experience. Looking forward to the big celebration.

Heidi and Derek are Expecting!

Gorgeous couple, Heidi and Derek are expecting their first child in October...a little boy! I can just imagine how beautiful he is going to be. Watch out Knox, a new cutie's coming to town. HA!

I really had a wonderful time photographing this couple. We shot in Ladera Ranch at their home and in surrounding neighborhood's. It is quite breathtaking there...I definitely will consider buying a home in that city.

Thank you Heidi for giving me permission to BLOG the more intimate pictures we took. You look amazing! I can't wait to meet the little man, and I am so looking forward to photographing his welcome home. Congrats!

Tevy and Yun

Tevy and Yun had a lovely afternoon wedding at Palos Verdes Golf Club. Even though the sun was blaring down on us, there was a nice breeze coming in from the ocean. The lovely Andie Martinez joined me in capturing the moments of their day. Thank you for all of your hard work Andie!

I instantly got a good vibe from Tevy and Yun when we met. It was apparent that the love they hold for one another is true. It is always an honor to work with couples that are so loving toward one another. I can say the same for the company that they keep (which includes all of their friends and family).

The reception was held at a wonderful Vietnamese Restaurant called S Fine Dining. Oh man, the food was delicious! I will definitely go back! The details were beautiful. One of my favorites was the favor that they gave to their guests. It was a beautiful golden apple made of glass. In Taiwanese culture, the apple symbolizes Spring, rebirth and new beginnings.

Andrew Nguyen of VIP DJ Services played the best music all night. Andie and I seriously could not hold still because we were be-bopping along between each image shot. We had a blast!

Thank you Tevy and Yun for a wonderful celebration. I wish for you a lovely future filled with endless happiness.

This little girl was not thrilled to see my camera. I don't normally have this affect on children. :-)
