Ella is having her first birthday party in January, and in Korea the first birthday is a HUGE celebration. I went to visit my dear friend, Susan and her family last week and boy did we have a great time. Her daughter, Ella is so adorable and I must say that she was absolutely wonderful in front of the camera. She is already walking and is quite active. Susan is having the time of her life with Ella. We both agree that having a girl is so much fun. You should see the clothes and shoes that she has...amazing! And her boutique room that Susan spent extra time and care into designing is worthy of interior decorating magazines. I'm looking forward to capturing Ella's big day come next month. More to follow...Enjoy!
Beautiful Invitation - Susan pays close attention to detail, so I wanted to make sure that I capture them all.
My best friend and her familia headed up to the Claremont Colleges to take their 2007family portraits. We settled on Scripps College, which we believe is the most beautiful of them all. It's like being in New York during the Fall Season with the colorful leaves and crisp, cold air. I had fun chasing after the adorable twins, and little Miss Sophia just takes my breath away with her beauty. I think we have a model in the making. Lisa looked darling in her BCBG dress and cute bob haircut. Okay Steve, you looked great too! I hope you all enjoy some of my favorites of the one of the most vivacious families I know.
I love this picture! Look at those legs on Lisa. I guess being a professional dancer doesn't hurt at all...
...but, apparently it hurt Steve's back when I asked him to lift Lisa up. She had a good laugh, and I hear Steve is still feeling it. Sorry Steve!
HUGE New York Yankee Fan, Ryan Peralta asked Hilary to marry him at Balboa Beach. They got to relive this wonderful moment during our photo session. It was frrrrrrreezing and windy while we were shooting, but we were all troopers. Hilary's gorgeous, curly hair had a personality of its own during the wind storm. She had to keep flipping it around so as not to have constant hair in her face. HA! It had just rained the day before, so we really lucked out as far as the weather was concerned. And of course, the big puffy clouds that painted the sky were amazing. Hilary and Ryan were a blast to hang out with. I'm really looking forward to photographing their wedding day, coming up in June.
