The Grosso Family

My best friend and her familia headed up to the Claremont Colleges to take their 2007family portraits. We settled on Scripps College, which we believe is the most beautiful of them all. It's like being in New York during the Fall Season with the colorful leaves and crisp, cold air. I had fun chasing after the adorable twins, and little Miss Sophia just takes my breath away with her beauty. I think we have a model in the making. Lisa looked darling in her BCBG dress and cute bob haircut. Okay Steve, you looked great too! I hope you all enjoy some of my favorites of the one of the most vivacious families I know.

I love this picture! Look at those legs on Lisa. I guess being a professional dancer doesn't hurt at all...

...but, apparently it hurt Steve's back when I asked him to lift Lisa up. She had a good laugh, and I hear Steve is still feeling it. Sorry Steve!

The Rey Family

My dear friends, The Rey's and I headed down to their local park to take their 2007 Holiday photos. Cameron wanted to head straight for the playground, and rightfully so. All of our efforts to get him away from the playground failed, even the best one of them all, "Santa needs the family picture, so he remembers who we are." It just goes to show that kids are much smarter than we give them credit for. HA! I eventually came up with a great idea. I told Cameron that if he let me take pictures of him, then I would let him use my camera to take pictures of me. To my surprise, he listened to every detailed description I gave him on how to use the camera and he did a fabulous job. Now, I know who is taking my family photos this year. I would have posted some of his pics, but they revealed something about me that I am not sure I want to share with everybody...I'm even dorkier than I thought. Needless to say, I think I had more fun than anyone else. I hope you enjoy their photo session.

Sheryl and Walt being very playful. Sheryl is a professional dancer and studio owner (LA Dance Connection in Whittier, CA) and I just got a kick out of her pose in this shot. So elegant and dainty.

The Kim Family

I have been photographing Lawyer Ann H. Park and her family for many years now. They are an absolutely lovely family. The kids, Rachel and Dillon get cuter and cuter every time I see them. The big thing this year was that Rachel got her hair cut short. Now Rachel is able to brush and style her own hair. It's such a great way to teach a child responsibility. I have to remember this when Bella turns her age. She also plays the piano now and attends a performing arts school. Dillon loves to mimic his big sister, he loves shoes and is saying lots of words. When I arrived, Rachel kissed her little brother and said to me, "Dillon is a handsome little gentleman." I found that to be very endearing. So cute! We had fun roaming around El Dorado Regional Park in Long Beach. Enjoy viewing their pics.

Happy Halloween!

This is Bella's second Halloween. This year she is a little stinker. She is equally dissatisfied with having to wear a costume as she was last year. I'm sure there will be plenty of time for paybacks. We took her pumpkin hunting a few days ago, making her a spectacle, of course. The Great Pumpkin never showed, but we had fun nontheless. Enjoy these pics from our night at the pumpkin patch.

Bella really trying to rip her head off

This was last year's costume. Still a favorite of mine. I mean, her attitude is quite priceless!
