Bella Turns One!

My baby girl turned one today! I can't believe how quickly time has passed. It seems like just yesterday that I brought her home. Motherhood has been a joyous experience. I have to remind myself to savor every moment because it goes by so fast. We are having a pool party for her this weekend (more pictures to follow). My husband and I took her to Pasadena to celebrate. She loves being strolled around so she can look at everyone and everything. However, on this day she preferred being held. I put this darling hat on her that I got from Gigi's. My husband hated it...he said she looked like Phyllis Diller. While that was funny, I made her keep it on. I have to admit, the flower is out of control, but I am a sucker for hats with flowers. She can get me back later.

That is a Johnny Rocket sign in back of her. We are limited to eat at restaurants now that have outdoor seating and that serve the meals within minutes. Even though I was craving gourmet Italian, I had to settle for greasy burgers and fries.

This picture was taken by my husband the day after we came home from the hospital (last year). I use to be able to hold her on my chest...now, she fits across half my body. Amazing!

I believe I posted these already...but I couldn't resist. These were taken a month ago.

Baby Makenah - 3 months old

Welcome Makenah! Nicole and John gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and they are enjoying the blessings of parenthood. I can see that she is already a Daddy's girl. John is very attached to his daughter...what a doting father he is. And Nicole is a calm Mother who enjoys making Makenah giggle. You should see her face when she see's her Mommy or hears her voice. Priceless! I am so happy for these two. And I am looking forward to watching Makenah grow. Congrats!

Emily and Matthew's Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Glasser had a lovely celebration at the Bel Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades. Emily chose beautiful bright colors to decorate her event. I loved all of the yellow hues, especially the sunflowers (artistically created by All About Flowers). You may remember Emily and Matthew's engagement session at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Their guest sign-in book filled with all of the best images taken that day was a huge hit at the wedding. These two are another one of my couples that met online on J-date. What a successful place to meet your future companion. The love that these two have for one another is quite apparent. There is much love that surrounds these two as well from friends and family. The reception was filled with non-stop dancing, laughter and heartfelt words. Congratulations to a wonderful couple, and my new friends.
