Beautiful Lucy

The Lamping's had a beautiful baby girl a year ago and her name is Lucy (after her grandmother). Her big, blue eyes are so dreamy...I imagine she can get nearly anything she wants with those baby blues. I had a wonderful time hanging out with this family along with their two adorable doggies. Nicole was pregnant when I shot her sister's wedding, so it was such a pleasure to finally be able to meet their new bundle of joy.

Shawna and Eddie's Wedding

Shawna and Eddie along with their two beautiful boys, got married at a charming little venue called The Clark Estate located in Santa Fe Springs, CA. It was refreshing to see a bride so relaxed on her wedding day. She was the coolest bride ever, letting me take her into piles of dusty leaves during their portrait session. Eddie too did not hesitate when asked...they just went for it. We all dusted each other off afterwards, and even helped to clean Shawna's shoes. Thank you for being so adventurous and game.

My favorite weddings are held in the Fall because of the richness of colors. Shawna adorned this location with beautiful florals by Art With Nature Design. She used burnt oranges, burgundy's, yellow and chocolate. One of my favorite details of their day was the candy station. It was all chocolate. They provided their guests with mason (their last name is Mason...cute idea) jars to fill up with the candy. Needless to say, the station was devoured in zero to sixty seconds.

Shawna and Eddie's guests really knew how to celebrate, partying all night long and filling up the dance floor. What a wonderful celebration it was. Congrats to the lovely couple! Best Wishes today and Always.

Four Families

I had the opportunity to photograph four lovely families near Joshua Tree.

The Harris Family. They own Sherman's Deli in both Palm Springs and Palm Desert. Go and visit whenever you're in the neighborhood. Yummy stuff!

Marisa and Stephen's Wedding

Marisa and Stephen wed at the Churon Winery amongst the beautiful vineyards of Temecula, CA. What I observed about this couple is that when they are together, there are no other worries in the world. There is this wonderful calm about the two of them, and the love was quite apparent to me.

I am so happy for you two. Congrats!
