Tevy and Yun's E-Session

The Long Beach Pike was a stellar choice for Yun and Tevy's E-Session. There was so much to see and do there. We could have easily shot the whole day. In fact, we found ourselves running in the end, as we were trying to use as much available light as possible. We had so much fun. I was so honored to be witness to Tevy and Yun's love for one another. It radiated like you couldn't believe.

What a scorcher it was on that day too...94 degrees in Long Beach!! Yun made sure to keep Tevy and I plenty hydrated with water at every stop. Thanks Yun. I'm beginning to believe that Yun and Tevy really like the heat. They even planned their wedding outdoors in July, one of the hottest months of the year. We are hoping for that ocean breeze.

Thank you Tevy and Yun for being adventurous during your E-Session. I hope you enjoyed the experience! Here are some of my favorites...

Baby Guttierez is Coming Soon!

Julie and Aaron are having a baby, and it's a girl! They are having a difficult time choosing a name. I even went through all of the names in my phone book for Julie, but nothing stuck. She assured me that she most definitely won't do a Gwyneth Paltrow, and name her daughter Pear or Grape or any other type of fruit for that matter.

Julie and Aaron were married three years ago when I had the honor of shooting their wedding. And what a privilege it was to shoot their maternity portrait session. Julie really is radiant. Makes me miss pregnancy. Awwww! Aaron, you look great as well. HA!

I am so happy for you both, and I can't wait to meet your new addition. Best of luck to you as you begin the next journey of your life.

Ellen and Fernie's E-Session

I spent a great day with Ellen and Fernie in Downtown Los Angeles. There is so much to see there, and quite a bit of character. These two were so much fun to work with. We started off at Union Station, then strolled through Alvera Street where we couldn't say no to the best churros in town...I can still taste the cinnamon yumminess. We made our way to the Art District, and then ended off the evening in the Financial District. We could have continued on for many more hours, but it was getting cold and Ellen was craving her udon noodles at one of their favorite joints in Little Tokyo. They were so kind as to invite me along, but I declined so I could dine in with my husband and daughter. When I got home, my husband had already eaten and my daughter was sleeping. I settled for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I'm sure there is no comparison to those noodles that I missed out on. Ahhh Man!!!

Thank you Ellen and Fernie for making my experience working with you a wonderful one. I am thrilled to be your photographer and am really looking forward to your BIG Day.
